Daily Auction Prices Realized (APR) Now Available on the PSA Set Registry2 min read

The trading card world is growing so quickly that it’s difficult to keep track of your collection. Fortunately, the PSA Set Registry is offered free of charge to collectors. The Registry is the only community in which collectors can compete in building sets and growing their collections. It is also a powerful tool designed for hobbyists to manage, organize and track their inventory of PSA-graded cards in a single location. And PSA made the Registry even more valuable to collectors with the recent addition of Auction Prices Realized (APR) information. This new function places daily auction pricing information at collectors’ fingertips for the cards in their Registry listings.

With tens of thousands of auctions closing each day, it has become nearly impossible to keep track of current values for your entire collection. That is until now. With APR information now a part of the Set Registry, collectors can easily check the daily sales activity on items matching those in their inventories. The result is up-to-the-day pricing information specifically for the cards in your Set Registry.

A quick glance at the new Set Registry Inventory header gives you a summary of your portfolio. As you scroll down, the APR Value column provides the card-by-card details. An auction gavel icon next to a price indicates that an example of this card in this grade has sold in a public auction within the last 24 hours and the value in your portfolio has updated to reflect the recent sale price. You can sort your inventory to look specifically at “Active Inventory that has had a price change” and see all the “gavel cards” on one page.

“The explosion of trading card values over the last year has increased the importance of associating values to the cards in your collection,” said PSA President Steve Sloan. “APR offers the most up-to-date pricing information in the industry and by pairing it with the PSA Set Registry, collectors now have access to the latest sales figures without having to do any research on their own. It not only saves Set Registry users a lot of time, but it offers the information they need in making important decisions about their collections without having to pay for it. This is just the latest in a series of additions we are implementing to make the PSA Set Registry the single most valuable tool available to collectors today.”

The premier collection management tool in the hobby just got better. With more changes coming, the addition of APR to the Set Registry is just the latest example of PSA recognizing the hobby’s needs and offering a valuable solution. Join the PSA Set Registry today!
